Synthesis

The trainer groups the participants to form 3 separate groups. 

Group 1: data privacy, 

Group 2: access to information, 

Group 3: freedom of expression. 

The trainer them challenges each group to discuss their assigned digital rights, their experiences? How are the rights safeguarded in their country? And What are positive and negative examples? 

Each group is given a couple of flip-chart sheets to reflect, discuss and write down their answers to which they will make a 5 minute presentation. 

Following the exercise, the trainer asks the participants if they are aware of the laws that protect digital rights in their country. And to name the different laws that protect their digital rights.
