Introduction to Digital Citizenship
Digital citizenship refers to the responsible use of technology by anyone who uses computers, the Internet, and digital devices to engage with society on any level. It also refers to regular positive engagement with digital technologies. As the rate of technological advancement continues to increase, the Internet is being depended on globally for day-to-day activities. According to Karen Mossberger (et al) of the Massachusetts Institute for Technology, digital citizens are “those who use the internet regularly and effectively.
